Yet another supremely stupid idea from No 10….
The UK Government’s Red Tape Challenge offers the alarming possibility of scrapping no fewer than 278 environmental laws, including the Climate Change Act (2008) and the Countryside and Rights of Way Act (2000). Pretty intelligent and forward thinking, huh (especially for a government pushing its ‘green’ credentials during electioneering)?
