Travel and documentary photographer Rudolf Abraham has had a camera around his neck, over his shoulder or somewhere generally close to hand, since he first saved up for two years and bought himself a battered-but-built-like-a-tank old Nikon F, at the tender age of 11. These days he works on assignment across Europe for UK and international magazines, specialising in human-led stories, traditional culture, and hiking and outdoor features set among some of Europe’s wildest and most remote mountain areas, with a particular focus on Central and Eastern Europe, Croatia, Slovenia, Austria and France.
