Like the image of Cerro Torre in this earlier post, this one was also shot back in 2008 on a Nikon D200 while working on a guidebook to hiking in this area and Chile’s Torres del Paine national park. The lens? My trusty old manual focus Nikkor 50mm f/1.8 AIS – tiny, lightweight and unobtrusive, incredibly cheap and phenomenally sharp.
