The Peaks of the Balkans is a recently developed 192km cross-border hiking route through mountainous borderlands of Albania, Kosovo and Montenegro. I’ve just finished writing the first English-language guidebook to the whole route, for Cicerone.
Two fantastic local tour operators, if you’re planning a trip to the Peaks of the Balkans, are Zbulo in Albania and Zalaz in Montenegro.

What is the publication date of your guidebook? I’d like to take it with me on my Peak of the Balkans trek in June!
Hi Melissa, I don’t think it will be published by then unfortunately, I don’t know the exact date yet but I think July would be the earliest. Perhaps contact me again nearer the time you go, and feel free to ask for recommendations for accommodation and local trekking agencies.
