Waterspout – fast disappearing in the few seconds in took me to change lenses and scramble up onto a largish rock – viewed from the sandbanks and extensive inter-tidal reef near Seymour Tower, at low tide, around 2 miles offshore from the southeast corner of Jersey, Channel Islands, UK. At high tide this area would be covered by over 30ft (9m) of water.

Great capture Rudolf, it suits the panoramic format!
Derek.
Thanks Derek – wish I’d had a longer lens with me….
